National Right to Work has previously exposed how President Barack Obama’s supposedly strict ethics policy doesn’t apply to Big Labor. Time and time again, Obama has filled key positions in the Department of Labor, National Labor Relations Board, and other federal agencies with top union officials and forced unionism extremists who are given influence over matters important to their former employers.
In the latest installment of the Personnel Alert video series, National Right to Work Committee president Mark Mix discuses John J. Sullivan, Obama’s nominee to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).
After the radical Service Employees International Union (SEIU)’s Section 529 group, America Coming Together (ACT), illegally raised and spent $100 million in the 2004 election, the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation filed a complaint with the FEC. Sullivan, a lawyer for the SEIU, defended ACT, and the FEC investigation eventually led to a record $775,000 fine.
And now President Obama wants to install Sullivan in the very agency which has the responsibility to investigate and punish illegal union politicking.
